The Hindu Trinity

It is this institution of seven sages who founded Hinduism, by expending a large amount of effort over thousands of years in unifying a large number of traditions from across civilizations into one single religion of Hinduism that we see today.

The Hindu Trinity, the Hindu divine hierarchy, the Hindu festivals, and everything else that we see today were formulated by them. The religion got so excessively dependent on these sages that they started being considered as the representatives of the creator on earth.

Excessive mythicization finally led to the relegation of this institution from the purview of the real world into the realm of mythology, to the extent that they started being regarded as mythical personalities. This institution got destroyed at the time of the three hundred year severe drought of 2200 BC. At that time, most of the Indians, devastated by the drought, left India for foreign shores, especially to European lands.

The institution of seven sages got destroyed in the subsequent societal turbulence, as a result of which, the origins of Hinduism have once and for all become lost in the dungeons of time, becoming the source of intense mystery to this day.

The Institution of Saptarshis is the founder of Hinduism. The Seven Sages laid down the Origins of Hinduism.

History Of Hinduism

Saptarshis Was The Founder Of Hinduism

History of hinduism has become a highly complex subject because of a lack of understanding of its foundations. When bothered with the question of who founded Hinduism, reactions given are as follows:

"Hinduism - as I see it - is a coming together of different philosophies. To find out the beginnings of Hinduism is like asking - Where did the Ocean Originate"

"Hinduism has no beginning--it precedes recorded history. It has no human founder. It is a mystical religion"

The Origins of Hinduism

This article throws some light on the Origins of Hinduism.

Just as there has been a huge amount of migration in the last few centuries from all over the world to North American provinces, there was a time millennia ago, when mighty rivers like Saraswati were wetting Indian lands, India was the preferred choice of destination for migration.

While a lot of places in the world were covered with ice, the Indian subcontinent, with its mighty rivers and its relative tropical climate, offered the most ideal place for settlements and habitations.

Huge number of tribes used to frequently migrate onto the Indian subcontinent in large numbers. Each incoming community had its own tribal deity and the environment became highly polytheistic with every community of few hundred or thousand individuals having its own God.

With thousands of deities present all over the place, the essence of religion itself was completely lost. It was necessary to arrest this polytheism and bring some sanity. That's when an institution called Saptarshis was formed.

The history of Hinduism started with the efforts of a well-formed organizational institution headed by Seven Sages, called Saptarshis, who aimed at arresting the excessive polytheism resulting from these migrations. Just as we have Pope for Christianity today, Hinduism, from the beginning, had this institution of seven sages who were mentioned in the Hindu scriptures as the patriarchs of the religion.

Vedas

They used certain scriptures called Vedas to arrest polytheism, and took excessive pains to integrate all these different deities under one hood of a universal religion. They very strictly guarded the Vedic body of knowledge, and the copy of the Vedas available with them was considered to be the final copy.

Any changes to the Vedas were needed to be approved by this elite group of sages. If the reasons were justified, they approved the changes and incorporated them into the Vedas.

Otherwise, they rejected it and kept the Vedas intact without any contamination. Any changes, to the extent possible, were always added as appendages rather than their being incorporated into the Vedas. So we have Brahmanas, Aranyakas, and Upanishads as appendages to the Vedas. As more and more philosophy developed, all of them got incorporated into this body as appendages.

How to Open the Third Eye?

So how to open and balance your third eye chakra? Read The third eye chakra first, please! Many people use meditation to heal the third eye, and any other chakra. Practicing third eye meditation can help you activate your third eye and reconnect you with your spiritual side. This may be great for some people, but others may not want to drag spiritual energies into their lives, and so they should not do the meditation.

The third eye is one of the most mystical and unknown chakras and therefore one should be careful when working with it, as you do not know what will happen. Some people have had some extreme results such as seeing and hearing things that belong to the spiritual world.

So maybe this type of meditation will make us more vulnerable to energies around us, and it will then be a good idea to learn how to protect ourselves against unwanted entities. So do some more research on the topic and learn more about it before you start opening it.

Many people believe that the third eye chakra is connected to the pineal gland, which is a small gland right in the middle of our brain. This gland is stimulated and activated by light and therefore it controls important biorhythms of the human body. Many consider the pineal gland to be a very powerful and important source of spiritual development and the key to psychic abilities.

It is said that when the pineal gland is activated, it will be able to connect with spiritual dimensions. With the help of meditation we may be able to create a vibration that will allow us to connect with our spiritual side and astral body.

Third Eye Meditation

There are so many different third eye meditation exercises to open your third eye. Chanting meditation is one way to do is, which will help you create the right vibration that can resonate and stimulate your chakra and thereby open it. You can also try a third eye breathing exercise, where you will imagine yourself breathing through your chakra with a energized indigo coloured wind.

Any technique that turns your focus and energy to the third eye area will stimulate it. But always remember to keep a positive mind and only focus on love and kindness. And also you should remember to relax during the meditation so that you will not get a headache.

Islam is freedom

Truth is the dream of philosophers and the only pursuit of philosophy, science and arts. Man has the natural impetus for truth and as Aristotle said that Truth does not need justification, for it is clear enough as justification. Truth stands on its own feet and our mind accepts it as it is.

Mathematical truth, for example, is considered to be a perfect science that justifies itself, whether its origin is an external entity existing on its own or our own invention. If Islam as a monotheistic religion makes the mind as judge, then how can this be related to the concepts of freedom and justice that Islam calls for?

Islam considers man's mind as the judge but such a state needs to be exercised within the criterion of freedom. If God is the ultimate objective of man's belief and man's submission unto, then man must have the freedom of choice between belief and disbelief, this is depenent on the non-viability of a proof for God's existence.

In other words, if Islam calls for the acknowledgement of a God then it must, a priori, provide proof and evidence for its premises. But Islam, like other monotheistic religions, or even any other belief system in the general sense of belief, does not provide proof, nor evidence not even a solid argument, for the existence of God.

Islam as a religion challenges man to look into the universe, and must have the freedom of looking into the universe, then man is given the choice, and he must have the freedom of choice, and then man must make his own convictions towards the premises advanced for belief, and man must have the freedom of making such convictions. This consists of the aspect of freedom in Islam. The freedom to consider the universe as an act of creation by one and only God or otherwise.

Guidance for Those Who Fear Allah and Believe

The companions (Radhiyallaho anho) of Rasulullah (SAW) used to say first we learned Imaan (belief) from Rasulullah (SAW) and then we learned Quran.

One can’t really understand the core of Quran without Imaan however it is such amazing Book that it opens up gates of guidance for every single human being no matter he/she is a Muslim or not.

Quran says that the people who have the above characteristics would not only get guidance but also they are the ones who will prosper. The fifth verse of Surah Al-Baqarah / The Cow states: “They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.”

on the other hand there are some unfortunate people who would not get guidance at all. Allah says to Rasulullah (SAW) that whether you warn them or not they will not become Muslims as Quran says : “As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.”

The question is that why Allah says whether you warn them or not they will not believe in Me? the reason is told in Quran as well, the reason is given in the very next verse “Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur)” they are the ones who are “Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path)” primarily because whenever they are told about the Truth, they not only reject but also make fun out of it.

Islam is justice

The aspect of justice in Islam is based on the perspective that man is given the mind to look into the universe and have liberty of convictions, as well as having enough time to make the final judgment before death, then man is held responsible for his own choice.

Such a choice, although free and personal, has consequences for man himself. In such a way the human mind is made not only the judge mediator between man and the universe but also charged with the responsibility of man's decision to believe or disbelieve.

Islam faces man with a clear message that God is and is given freedom to choose between belief and disbelief then it is only logical that man is held responsible for his own judgment. The justice perspective comes into the formula of Islam as a direct cosequence for man's own decision. Whether man is rewarded by paradise or is punished by hell fire man alone is responsible.

Reward and punishment as levers for persuasion and dissuasion are but the criterion of justice in Islam, and indeed in Judaism and Christianity. Christianity holds man alone to be responsible whether to follow the way of God or the way of the devil. In Judaism humans are invited to obey God but they have the choice of disobeying God with all the consequences therefrom.

If man is then provided with mind and has enough time to consider through the criterion of the universe whether or not to believe, which expresses total freedom, unlike what the fatalist and predestination advocates claim, then justified consequences, as purpose for such a free task and responsibility, must be applied and this is the idea of final judgment and reward and punishment in Islam.

Quran Is the Guidance

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAW) and upon all his family and companions)

Quran (http://www.quranreading.com) is the last book of guidance which was revealed on Our Beloved Prophet Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam).

The Quran deals with the ultimate goal of mankind. Allah Ta’ala has clearly explained the goal and aim of our lives as Allah Ta’ala says in Quran: “I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me”.

If someone wants to understand the core and essence of the Holy Quran he or she must have some characteristics and beliefs. Here are they:

• first: who believe in the Unseen
• second: who steadfast in prayer
• third: who spend money in the way of Allah
• fourth: who believe the Holy Quran and other books of Allah
• fifth : who have the assurance of the Hereafter

The second chapter of Quran talks about these characteristics as Allah says: “This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah. Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter”.

The Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra and the Pineal Gland

There are seven chakras in the kundalini chakra system and the third eye is the sixth and is located in the middle of the forehead, which will be your focal point in third eye meditation.

The third eye is our connection to the spiritual world and it is the location of many different characteristics such as our connection to intuition and Higher Self, spiritual growth, inner awareness, getting ideas and psychic abilities.

Just like all the other chakras you have in your body, your third eye chakra can also be closed and therefore out of balance. This energy blockage can give you a feeling of confusion and chaos. You may also feel disconnected to your spiritual side and therefore cut off from one important part of your being.

Feeling lost and having difficulties finding the right path is also a consequence of an unbalanced third eye chakra and therefore you will have a hard time seeing things clearly and know which way to go.

Islam is mind

Islam makes the human mind as the judge. Man is provided with the mind to look into the universe and consider the need for a master planner and a master architect to make it what it is. The journey between man's birth and man's death is short, transitory and temporary.

But the confrontation of man with the universe is inevitable and inescapable. In fact there will be nothing left for reflection and for comprehension if there was not a universe to think about and man to think of. Man-universe interaction leads not only for survival but also for satisfying the inner curiosity of every person.

The man-universe interaction can be seen from one perspective, such of mind-matter perspective. If man can be reduced to mind of reflection and the universe of matter object of reflection then we can understand more of the nature of the relationship between man and the universe.

The criterion of the mind, of which no one can explain the presence, nature and origin of the 120 billion of neurons coming together, as be a miracle, to enable man to think. The objective of thought is to find out and discover in the attempt not only to survive but also to explain and understand.

The State in Islam is within and not without

Islam constructs an overall personality of the Muslim in accordance with the purpose of man's existence. It orients the human being towards his final goal in this life as well as in the other life, the eternal life. It reveals for man the secret of his being and unfolds the reason of his worldly life.

Man is shaped up from mental, psychological, physical and spiritual aspects. All work in harmony in order to sustain a life full of thought, full of reflection and full of comprehension of the purpose of life and his role in it. Islam indicates the characteristics features of man and works out the way for man to attain his good in this world and that ultimate good in the life in the hereafter.

Man is provided with the mind to think and reflect and to conclude, he has a life span to confront the universe and he has all the freedom of deliberating his personal convictions with respect to belief, acknowledgement and submission unto one and only God. The leap from the sensible to the intelligible is not easy but it is dispensable for every human being.

The Muslim represents the first cell of the Muslim community. He or she is the prototype of the whole community. The Muslim community is made up of such paradigm of prototypes that leads essentially to the formation of a society, fully fledged within the framework of a welfare state. The Muslim, having undertaken freely to accept one God, believe in one God and obey the law of God depicted in the sources of Islam namely the Qur'an and practice of Prophet Muhammad, has a structure of the state within himself.

He has a framework of a Muslim with all the tenets and precepts of Islam within him. He is aware of his role and his task in life and he leads his life in accordance with such precepts. He lives within a four dimensional relationship namely: man-God relationship, man-himself relationship, man-man relationship and man-universe relationship.

Within each relationship the Muslims is well conscious of his role and his own task and responsibility. He moves, in terms of thought, feeling and action, within the structure of every relationship.

The relationship of man with God

The Muslim submits himself unto belief in God, His angels, His messages, His messengers and the Day of Judgment. He obeys God and only God. In terms of man-himself relationship the Muslim is aware of his role and ought to practice all his obligations towards himself. Within the man-man relationship the Muslims is submitted to laws and rules that are essentially social, political and economic.

He practices his obligations, his rights, his duties and his responsibilities within the framework of others, the community. He has to obey the divine law and has to function in terms of the precepts of Islam. His relationship with the universe reveals his role towards the universe and how the universe leads him to believe in God and make him achieve his life where all his means of subsistence are provided for him by God.

All four relationships stem from the relationship of man with God. Man has a life cycle to live, a mind to think and free will to do whatever he likes. His temporary worldly life represents a preparation bridge for the eternal life. He decides his own destiny and he alone reaps the results of his own acts. In Islam no other person can be responsible for the person himself. He is tempted with good and evil and he alone decides which way to go.

Such perspective makes Muslims come together naturally into a community for communal action is just as important as individual action. In Islam there is a balance between the two while individual responsibility remains all the time individual and not communal.

A Mathful God?

Thank God that he calls us by name, that our names have been written in the Book of Life. He knows us intimately. We are not just numbers to him, as the scripture above reminds.

That said, have you ever looked at the face of a calculator and marveled at how completely God is involved in all of those functions?

He adds, he subtracts, he multiplies, he divides. Positives, negatives, rationals, irrationals, imaginaries, radicals... all indicate some aspect of God and what he does, how he interacts with his creation.

Let's take a look at some examples of the most basic of these functions, and how they suggest a perfect sum of completeness and trust. He's worked it all out. The numbers add up. The whole world - its time and history and future - is well calculated, and safe in his hands.

Muslim's way of life

In Islam it is the concept of the Hereafter that draws the big lines of the road.

Muslim's way of life can be hence easily compared and contrasted with other ways. The criterion of belief and disbelief is one factor of comparison and contrast.

Belief in one God or more is another factor. A third factor is belief in resurrection and the eternal life is a third factor of comparison.

But what is essential is that Muslims live within themselves a state of Islam. The necessity of an out Islamic state, a Leviathan, is therefore unnecessary. For the Muslim's responsibility makes him a state by himself. There is no need for a guardian over the Muslim as long as he abides by the law of God.

In societies that are un-Islamic humans live within the communal state and deterrent guardians are needed to keep order and keep the law. Fear of the state become predominant while in an Islamic state fear of God is predominant. Fear of God is by far more comprehensive and cannot be evaded while fear of the state is not comprehensive and is inefficient.

In Islam the Muslim knows that he must obey God, not to practice power over others, not to monopolize riches in his hand while others are bereft of their wealth, not to have social privilege and all equal before God. This makes the state within and not without the individual Muslim. As long as this formula is kept in order and under constant control and check the Muslim community does not need a state to control Muslims and coerce them into behaving according to Islamic tenets.

The state of Islam, according to the Islamic sources, represents a natural state called al-Fitrah( the natural impulse of the mind), it is not artificial state without that makes man an artificial citizen of an alien society.

Such a society is ideal but it can be pragmatic, on the condition that all Muslims do the same thing, but how far is this ideal-pragmatism from the Muslim world today!

Multiplication

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. --Hebrews 6:13-14, KJV

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. --2 Corinthians 9:10, NAS

"I would be afraid to bring children into this world if I did not know God. But because I know God, I am free to encourage you to have children... God's people are the ones who ought to be bringing a godly seed into this world. What does the world need? Jesus. How are they going to hear if the light goes out?" --Adrian Rogers, "Bringing Children into the World"

One Stop Shop for Prayer Books Online

Finding prayer books online is now easy with plenty of websites offering excellent prayer and evangelism books. You can find prayer books, family value books, Bible study material, excellent books for children and much more with a good online site that deals in such books.

Many of us do a lot of research at a Christian literature shop. However, we may be limited by the amount of time we can spend in a shop, difficulty in finding the exact type of book we want and waiting for a shop assistant to come and help us.

Most brick and mortar shops do not follow a discount philosophy like that of an online book store where offering discounts are the norm. Customers expect online discounts every time they log in, and you cannot run a successful online store if you are unwilling to offer any discounts. Besides, you do not have many of the costs associated with a physical store.

A customer who comes to an online store will be able to relax and browse through the site at his or her own pace. Finding an exact book or a book related to a theme is a lot easier when you can browse by title or by categories. There are thousands of titles that are easily found online.

With quick shipping that is available these days, you get your favorite books at your door step within a few days. Evangelism books have been a blessing to thousands of missionaries and aspiring evangelists. By giving them a clear picture of the realities of the mission field, what is to be expected and how an evangelist can prepare himself, many missionaries have had a much easier journey on the mission field than otherwise.

Likewise, prayer books online have helped millions of people lead a more prayerful and fruitful life. As a true Christian, leading a life without daily prayer is meaningless. Online prayer books help a Christian pray more fervently and sincerely, keeping aside his or her personal needs for the betterment of others around. Evangelists have to pray daily to win souls. Nothing is possible without the blessings of God. If you have taken a step without praying to God and asking for His counsel, do not expect God to be there by your side.

If you need a good book to read for yourself, for a missionary, your child or somebody you know, make sure that you can find a good online site where you can buy everything in one go.

God is in the business of division

You shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. --Ezekiel 47:21, NAS

And the people of all the nations will be gathered before him. Then he will divide them into two groups, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. --Matthew 25:32, GNT

"God is in the business of division. As in creation, He divided whatever was necessary in order to bring order. He divides light and darkness today also. That is why His people are in this world but not of it.

God's children are separated from the world as they are sanctified, or set apart, for the things of God. As Christians, we think of the Lord as One who wants to make "everything ok" or to bring peace to a given situation.

However, the Lord Jesus clearly said that He came to divide. 'Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword' (Matt. 10:34)." --Tonilee Adamson & Bobbye Brooks, "Division"

Addition for praising God

Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. --Acts 2:46-47, NAS

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. --1 Corinthians 3:7, KJV

"Nothing in Scripture and in the life of Christ could be clearer: Wealth is not an objective of the spiritual life. When we encounter money on the path of life, we are encouraged to do one of three things with it: Turn and walk in the other direction; pick it up and give it away; or use it for the necessities of life.

It's this last part that I think has become skewed over time. Our list of 'needs' is much greater today than it was in 1900 and their list of needs were certainly greater than during the time when Christ walked the Earth. Now I know that here in the year [2010], it is countercultural to give money away.

It is countercultural to seek your security in things that aren't man-made. But, remember what Jesus promised, 'But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33, NKJV)." --Steve Scalici, "Should Christians Strive for the American Dream?"

Life and Evolution

If you truly want to be a person of influence you first have to embrace evolution. Wisdom will always let you know that fighting change is definitely a losing battle so it is imperative that you move towards being a more evolved enlightened human being.

One of the great principle of life is stated this way; "Freedom and happiness are found in the flexibility and ease with which we move through change."

If you truly want to transition or transform from someone who moves through life unconsciously to a person who becomes the wealthy individual who's completely aware of and completely at ease with all things around him or her then you must embrace change.

Subtraction

The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! --John 1:29, NAS

If you subtract from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will subtract your part from the Tree of Life and the Holy City that are written in this book. --Revelation 22:19, MSG

"Our spiritual engrafting provides an eternity of new life. While the struggles of our present earthly existence cause momentary, light affliction, the life to come for those who are in Christ Jesus will last forever.

There will be no more heartaches, no more pain. He has taken our heart of stone and replaced it with a heart of flesh. He died so that we might live." --Peter Beck, "Engrafted for Life"

Life Is About Evolution

It doesn't matter at all where you are from or what you've done in the past, you're never trapped in any circumstance, relationship, cycle, or situation unless you say and/or believe you are. It's always better to take each and everyday and treat it just as it is; a new day with new opportunities to do what's right.

If you're at a point in your life where you realize you're going in the wrong direction which means you're producing the wrong results then simply in most cases do the opposite of what you're doing right now. Trust me this will make a world of difference and you'll almost see small and/or big result quickly.

I know this is easier said then done but when you add courage and persistent practice to your constant thought pattern that's saying "it's time to make the necessary changes" then I'm absolutely sure you'll make great progress in living a more happy and fulfilled life.

The Sum of the Equation

I know that whatever God does will last forever; there is nothing to add or subtract from it; and God has done it so that people will fear him. --Ecclesiastes 3:14, CJB

Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped. He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD." -- Job 1:21, NAS

You can't take any of this stuff with you. Enjoy it and praise God for all of it. Instead of counting widgets, count blessings, count it all joy. Let him do the math of your life: be your accountant, buyer, salesman, financial planner, marketer and profiteer.

Passover Seder

To add a bit of drama to your Passover Seder, why not use a matza cover? People gather around the table, and at its center is a mysterious item draped in a festive cloth.

Then when everyone is gathered and anticipation is running high, voila! Matza! The kids will go wild! You can use the matza cover again when hiding the matza.

Make sure to stock up on Jewish wine before any Seder. Seder's require you to drink a lot of wine. Also most guest will probably want to do some extracurricular wine drinking beyond what the Seder calls for.

So get your invites together, start prepping your food, and dust off that Seder plate. Passover Seder will be here soon.

Are you ready?

Jewish Gifts

Make sure you have a family Haggadah for everyone who is coming. You can ask guests to bring their own but this creates confusion. Namely different Haggadahs have different page numbers, even though their contents are the same.

You can purchase sets of family Haggadahs and use them for years to come. Last I checked, a sequel to the Haggadah is not underway, so you don't need to worry about your copy falling out of date.

If food and Haggadah reading isn't enough to tempt your family to the table you can always rouse them with Jewish gifts. People love getting and giving gifts. It's a great way to express your love for someone while demonstrating how much you know about them.

Jewish gifts are especially meaningful because they speak to your greater, shared heritage and traditions. Anything from a Kipa to a Judaic piece of jewelry is a good Jewish gift.

A Successful Passover Seder

Seder is a great time to reconnect with those people who live with you, whom you know, and your family! Chances are between work, school, social commitments, and other functions you guys don't get to spend much time together. Preparing a lavish meal and sitting down to enjoy it as a family is a great way to develop your familial relationships while having fun.

Food is the best way to gather friends and family for a proper Seder. Nothing gets people to the table like Seder plates overflowing with tasty Jewish foods. Prepare food and ask others who dine with you to bring something too.

Even a loaf of bread or a bottle of wine can add to your spread. When it comes to a Passover Seder the more the merrier, especially if they are bringing food.

Credit Restoration

I would love to remark that the first thing you will need to accomplish is determine whether you really need credit restoration.

To do that you will have to get your hands on a copy of your credit rating. That should really not be difficult, ever since the government mandates that you are allowed to get one free of charge copy of your own credit report per year.

You just have to check with the right individuals. You can either find out from the website for your Federal Trade Commission and also contact one of the major credit agencies directly.
