There are seven chakras in the kundalini chakra system and the third eye is the sixth and is located in the middle of the forehead, which will be your focal point in third eye meditation.
The third eye is our connection to the spiritual world and it is the location of many different characteristics such as our connection to intuition and Higher Self, spiritual growth, inner awareness, getting ideas and psychic abilities.
Just like all the other chakras you have in your body, your third eye chakra can also be closed and therefore out of balance. This energy blockage can give you a feeling of confusion and chaos. You may also feel disconnected to your spiritual side and therefore cut off from one important part of your being.
Feeling lost and having difficulties finding the right path is also a consequence of an unbalanced third eye chakra and therefore you will have a hard time seeing things clearly and know which way to go.
